I Never Thought I’d Be a Thermomix Consultant

If you’d told me a few years ago that I’d not only become a Thermomix Consultant, but eventually step into a Team Leader role and be encouraging other people to start their own little businesses, I probably wouldn’t have believed you.
Because when my consultant first approached me about joining, I said no.
I actually said no a few times.
I thought… I’m not a salesperson. I didn’t know enough people. I didn’t know enough about Thermomix. What if I wasn’t good enough? What if I failed?
And then my consultant simply asked me: “what have you got to lose?”
I already owned my Thermomix, so I could start earning from the get-go. I was going to learn more about my machine anyway. The training was provided, and there was a whole team around me to support me.
So I gave it a go. It became something I never expected it to become.
Thermomix came into my life at a time when I’d just returned to my 9-5 after three years of maternity leave, and I realised pretty quickly that my heart just wasn’t in it anymore. Motherhood was where I wanted to be, but I also wanted something that was mine.
Something social. Something challenging. Something that allowed me to meet people, cook, talk about food and have a little fun along the way.
Somehow, Thermomix became all of those things.
And now, as a Team Leader, one of the things I’m most excited about is helping other people discover what this opportunity could look like for them.
There Isn’t One Way to Be a Thermomix Consultant

I think this is the biggest misconception.
You don’t have to decide that you’re suddenly going to become a full-time salesperson.
You don’t have to know hundreds of people. You don’t have to have a background in sales.
And you certainly don’t have to know everything about Thermomix before you start.
A Thermomix Consultant is there to share, demonstrate, support and help people discover how the Thermomix could fit into their lives. I would describe the role as flexible, you can work face-to-face, virtually or a combination of both, with training and ongoing support provided.
At the moment, there are some pretty exciting ways you can approach joining.
So rather than telling you why you should become a Consultant, let me show you some of the different paths you could take.
PATH 1: “I Want to Earn My TM7”

Let’s start with the big one.
Maybe you’ve been looking at a TM7 and thinking, “I’d love one… but $2,649 is a lot of money.”
What if you could work towards earning it instead?
Right now, the current Earn Your Thermomix program gives new Consultants the opportunity to earn their TM7 with 3 qualifying sales within their first 90 days. Each qualifying sale reduces the balance owing, and three sales can reduce that balance to $0.
Three sales. 90 days. Potentially a TM7 for free.
And this is the pathway I think people sometimes overcomplicate.
You don’t have to become some kind of Thermomix sales guru.
You simply have to share something you already know and love with people who might genuinely benefit from it.
You could demonstrate it to a friend. Invite someone to a cooking experience. Talk to a family member. Share what you love about your Thermomix online.
You never know which conversation might turn into a customer.
And if you achieve your three sales? You’ve earned yourself a TM7.
This offer is available until 21 September 2026. After this, you are able to earn your TM7 with 4 sales (usually 6) – but why wait to sell 4, when you can sell 3?
PATH 2: “I Already Own a TM7… Could I Earn Another One?”

A few weeks into owning my first Thermomix I was already thinking about how I could get a second one on my bench.
So you’ve already bought your TM7 and you’re absolutely loving it.
Maybe you’ve had that moment like me where you’ve thought:
“You know what would be handy? Having two.”
No, you’re not crazy.
Once you realise how much you use your Thermomix, having a second bowl or a second machine can actually make a lot of sense, particularly if you’re cooking multiple things at once, batch cooking or simply using your Thermomix constantly.
And instead of buying another TM7 outright, you could potentially work towards earning one. I’m sure you have been raving on to family and friends about how amazing your Thermomix is – you would simply be sharing why you love it and potentially helping someone else the same way it has helped you.
Imagine turning something you already own and love into an opportunity to earn another one.
PATH 3: “I was Going to Trade Up Anyway…”

Now this is one I particularly love because it’s a really creative way to take advantage of this offer.
Maybe you’ve been sitting there with your TM31, TM5 or TM6 thinking:
“I’ll just wait for the next trade-up offer.”
Or perhaps you’ve been watching the TM7 from the sidelines because you know eventually you’d like to upgrade.
This is where joining as a Consultant can create a completely different option.
Under the current offer you’re looking at, one qualifying sale can give you a $650 discount towards your TM7.
So instead of simply trading your existing machine in, you could join, make one sale and potentially receive that discount while keeping your existing Thermomix. You’re not giving up your old machine to receive the discount.
You could have:
Your existing Thermomix + your discount + your new TM7 + 6 months free subscription to Cookidoo + any qualifying Consultant rewards.
That’s a very different proposition to simply waiting for a trade-up.
PATH 4: “I’m Buying a TM7 Anyway…”

This one is probably the easiest of all.
If you’ve already decided you’re buying a TM7, why not consider joining first?
Instead of simply purchasing your TM7 and going about your day, you could give yourself 90 days to see what happens.
You already know why you want the machine.
You already know the value it brings to your kitchen.
You already have your own story to tell.
So what if you simply shared that story with other people?
The beauty of this pathway is that you’re not necessarily committing to becoming a long-term Consultant.
You could join, give it a go, share your experience and see whether you can earn something back towards your TM7.
Maybe you make one sale.
Maybe you make three.
Maybe you discover that you’re actually really good at this.
You just don’t know until you try.
And the way I see it, you’re not changing the fact that you were going to buy the TM7 anyway. You’re simply giving yourself the opportunity to potentially reduce what you pay for it.
PATH 5: “I Want a Little Something More”

This is actually the reason why I joined.
Not because I had grand plans to build a business.
I didn’t.
I wanted something that was mine.
I wanted to meet people. I wanted to learn. I wanted to cook. I wanted something social that fitted around my girls.
And I found all of that.
I’ve made friendships I wouldn’t have otherwise made. I’ve developed confidence I didn’t know I had. I’ve learnt more about cooking and my Thermomix than I ever expected to.
I’ve travelled.
I’ve worked towards incentives.
I’ve had opportunities I never imagined I’d have.
And now I’m stepping into leadership, something I’ve wanted for a long time because I want to encourage people and help them realise what they’re capable of.
That part of this journey has probably surprised me the most.
I started because I wanted something for me.
Now I get to help other people find something for themselves too.
PATH 6: “I Want to Earn Some Extra Income”

And then there’s the obvious one.
Maybe you don’t want another TM7.
Maybe you don’t want to become a full-time Consultant.
Maybe you simply want to earn some extra money around what you’re already doing. To fund that family holiday or that renovation that’s been waiting to get started.
Thermomix Consultants can earn commission from selling Thermomixes and also get a commission from The Mix Shop sales, with additional incentives and rewards available depending on your activity.
This is where I think the flexibility really matters.
You can build it around your life rather than trying to fit your life around a traditional job.
For me, that’s meant being able to be at home with my girls.
Some weeks I’m busy.
Some weeks I’m not.
Sometimes I’m doing in-person demos. Sometimes I’m online. Sometimes I’m creating recipes or content. Sometimes I’m simply chatting to someone about their Thermomix.
I make it work around my life.
And that’s what I love about it.
And if you’re sitting there thinking “I can’t do what she does”, you don’t have to. That’s the beauty of it. You make it your own and watch it work for you!
PATH 7: “Actually… Maybe I Want All of It”

And perhaps you’re reading this thinking…
“Why do I have to choose?”
You don’t.
Maybe you start because you want the TM7.
Then you discover you enjoy it.
Then you make a few sales.
Then you earn some commission.
Then you realise how amazing this community is.
Then someone asks if they can join your team.
And suddenly you’re sitting here as a Team Leader wondering how on earth that happened.
Spoiler: it’s the best feeling ever and yep, I’m going to toot my own horn and say, I’m SO proud of myself right now.
If you want that feeling, it’s a no brainer – just join!
And There Are Rewards From The Moment You Start

There are also some lovely extras built into the current opportunity.
As I mentioned above, when you join, you automatically receive six months of Cookidoo. And if you make your first qualifying sale within your first 30 days, you can also receive the new 2.7L Thermomix Server and a Thermomix Shopper Bag.
So even if your goal is simply to give this a try, there are rewards along the way.
There is $0 up front costs. No lock-ins. No obligations. All you’re committing to is paying anything owing on your TM7 if you’re joining to earn. And if you’re joining as a bring, well then…. You have nothing to lose!
You Don’t Need to Know How to Sell

I want to come back to this because it was the biggest thing holding me back.
I genuinely thought:
“I’m not a salesperson.”
And you know what? I’m still not.
I don’t want to pressure people into buying something they don’t want.
That’s not how I work.
I cook. I share. I help people. I answer questions. I show people what my Thermomix does and how it fits into my life.
And if someone sees the value and decides they want one, that’s where I come in to help them through that process.
Thermomix’s training and support were a huge part of why I felt comfortable starting, and that hasn’t stopped. There is ongoing training, practical support and a community around you.
And now, as your Team Leader, if you’re local to me, I’m your person.
You don’t have to figure it out alone.
So… Which Path Sounds Like You?

Maybe you’re joining because you want to earn a TM7 for free.
Maybe you want to earn a second TM7.
Maybe you were already planning to buy a TM7 anyway and want to see if you can earn something back.
Maybe you’ve been waiting for a trade-up and want to explore whether joining could give you a better option, you want to keep your existing Thermomix and work towards a TM7.
Maybe you simply want to earn some extra income.
Or maybe, like me, you want something that gives you friendships, confidence, flexibility, purpose and a little something that’s yours.
There really isn’t one right reason.
What Have You Got to Lose?
Remember when I said my consultant asked me that?
“What have you got to lose?”
I already had my Thermomix. I was going to keep using it. I was going to keep learning about it. I was going to keep telling people how much I loved it anyway.
So I thought… Why not?
And that little decision completely changed the direction of my life.
I now get to do something I genuinely love, around my family, with people I enjoy being around and now I get to help other people create their own version of that too.
So if you’ve ever thought:
“Could I do this?”
Maybe the answer isn’t yes.
Maybe it isn’t no.
Maybe it’s simply…
“What have I got to lose?”
If you’re curious, message me.
No pressure. No commitment to decide anything on the spot.
Just a conversation.
And we can work out which pathway might make the most sense for you ❤️
